Christmas was great. Spending time with family was even better. This Christmas was really my first one with Danial. Last Christmas, we were still in the just talking stage. It was so fun getting to spend Christmas with him and his family and him spending Christmas with mine. The presents were great, and I have a birthday present that’s even better. Daniel got me the jewelry box from Bombay that I’ve been wanting, but I can’t officially get it until January 5. It’s driving me crazy. I’m really not looking forward to going back to work in a few days. It has just been so amazing to be able to spend time with my honey and my family. I’m going to miss them so much more when I go back to ATL. I’m looking forward to church on Sunday. It’s another thing that I miss when I’m not here. My brother has to go back to camp Shelby on the 2nd. I really don’t want him to leave, but I guess I should make the most of the time that I do get to see him. We’re eating lunch together tomorrow. I’m going to miss the kid when he’s gone. I just hope and pray that he returns home safely.

"Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it well and serenely." ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
