About Me

I am a writer, the editor of two national healthcare magazines, and a sometimes-poet. I live in Nashville, TN, where I train for half marathons, take kickboxing classes, and drink too much coffee. I am a college sports fan, a lifelong bookworm, and allergic to cats.

I grew up in a very small town in Mississippi. And I went to college at Mississippi State University, where I got a degree in English. In high school, I was a classic overachiever and a band nerd. Although I live in Music City now, I don’t really play much anymore. I am still an overachiever.
